Since winning the 2005 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition at the age of 19 years old, Joyce Yang has been on a world tour of the great concert halls. Last year she played with the symphonies of Colorado, Colorado Springs, Houston, Fort Worth, Indianapolis and Orlando and held recitals throughout North America and Europe. In Salida, she enchanted the audience at the opening concert of the 2007 Salida Aspen Concert season. A native of the Republic of Korea, Joyce Yang's music can be heard at myspace.com/joyceyang and on a growing list of recordings. Tickets are $15.00 at the door and at salidaaspenconcerts.org. |
