Quiet Use Coaltion Guided mountain bike Midland area 3 p.m. 719-207-4130 www.quietuse.org
We are concerned about quiet on Forest Service, BLM, State and County land and also roads and trails on that land and through our communities. Our group was formed over 10 years ago. We focus mainly on issues in Chaffee and surrounding counties.
These hikes (and rides) are led by experienced individuals/guides who know the area and routes. These hikes are designed to help you get out to enjoy and experience some wonderful natural areas with like minded people. Many of these hikes are interpretive instructional hikes where you will learn about some of the unique natural features in the area.
All of these hikes are open to everyone and offered free of charge.
We ask that you reserve a spot on these hikes as we do try to limit numbers to preserve the experience and limit our impact. The time listed below is the meeting time, usually in or near a town, and we frequently car pool to the trail head a short distance away.
Some of these hikes can be quite popular. We can advise you regarding space available and fill you in on all the details. After you RSVP, we will contact you with all the details (meeting place, what to bring, etc.)
Please RSVP if you wish to participate by emailing us at or calling (719) 207-4130 |
