Old-fashioned July 4 hometown celebration in Buena Vista. Optimists' Club pancake breakfast at 6 a.m. in Columbine Park; parade at 10 a.m. on East Main Street. Kids' games and entertainment in the park after the parade; hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. served by Buena Vista Rotary Club. Fireworks at dusk at the rodeo grounds.
